Nagla is a highly accomplished leader with an exceptional track record of optimising business results and creating a culture of high performance whilst working in challenging and complex regulated environments. A strategic influencer with a diverse skillset and a reputation for determination, resilience and execution. Her strong leadership skills have been demonstrated through managing businesses through periods of organisational and transformational change whilst delivering significant business results. A thoughtful leader who is passionate about nurturing talent and is particularly committed to encouraging the development and representation of female colleagues at senior levels and in heavily male-dominated industries

Nagla is an academic-turned banker who has started her career in academia where she obtained a PhD in Computational Linguistics and has undertaken several lecturer and consulting roles. She holds academic publications on the application of multivariate analysis and natural language processing tools to the study of languages. She has also completed an Executive MBA at Durham

A total shift in career, she joined Lloyds Banking Group and progressed through various senior leadership positions across retail management, strategy, products and business development, conduct and strategic transformation.  She has extensive experience operating at director and board level and has held responsibility for managing joint ventures with sizeable P&L accountability driving growth strategy, cost efficiency and customer experience improvements. Most recently, through her Business Transformation roles, she has been responsible for shaping and delivering the Group strategic business, technology and data transformation across the Transport business and currently in the Homes business in her capacity as a Business Platform lead.

Outside of work, she is a full time mum with 2 grown up children and a regular host for friends where she entertains with her exquisite Egyptian cuisine!
