Jenny has  extensive business experience and understanding of Financial Services. In the early part of her career from 1980 she undertook a wide variety of customer facing, business relationship, credit management and operational roles across the NatWest and RBS Groups. Post the RBS takeover in 2000.

She diversified her skills and experience across a range of head office roles, covering large scale change programmes, project management, risk review, channel strategy, communication, and training roles.

For the period 2001/3 she played a key role in the Integration Programme of NatWest/RBS which was recognised as one of the largest and most complex integration projects ever undertaken in financial services.

In 2006 Jenny became the Chief Operating Officer at the RBS subsidiary Hanco ATM Systems Limited, which operated 5,000 ATMs across the UK and Netherlands, £30m turnover and 150 staff. The business was in distress having over expanded in its early years of growth prior to RBS buying it. She led and delivered a significant Operational and Technology Transformation programme covering 20 projects over 2 years, including outsourcing key functions. In 2008, she became the Chief Executive of Hanco and initiated a Commercial Re-direction and Expansion programme. Both operational and commercial change programmes were fundamental to eventually returning the business to profitability.

In 2010 Jenny led a Management Buy Out of the business and re-launched it as YourCash Europe Limited. In 2013 she re-financed the business again in order to become the majority shareholder and take control of its strategic direction. Over the period 2010-2016 Jenny expanded the business into Belgium and Ireland and continued to grow the UK and Dutch businesses. In 2006 the business was losing £7m per annum. She sold
the business in 2016 to a US-quoted company on an Ebitda of £7m for £50m.

Additionally between 2014-2016 Jenny was a Non-Executive Director of LiNK Scheme Limited, the ATM industry’s governing body as set out in the Financial Services (Banking Reform) Act 2013. LINK is recognised as an inter-bank payment system under section 184 of the Banking Act 2009 and part of the Bank of England’s supervisory regime.

In 2017 Jenny was invited to become a Dragon on BBC2’s flagship programme Dragon’s Den, attracting over £2.5m viewers per programme, worldwide. Over two series she invested in 5 businesses in the energy, spirits, well- being and media industries.

From 2019-2022 Jenny was Vice Chair of the Prince’s Trust Enterprise Fellowship programme. She is passionate about helping young people to set up and grow their own businesses.
