Having spent the majority of my career as a hiring manager, as well as a mentor to other women in tech, I have seen recurring behaviour patterns plagued the community as individuals pursue opportunities to take on more senior roles.

In this session I explore why we often fall into these traps due to our own inner voice as well as the impact a lack of diversity has on women as the push boundaries in areas dominated by their male counterparts. We examine imposter syndrome and ways to avoid it, NLP tactics to influence others and different mindset exercises to position yourselves as the strongest contender on the field.
