Stop Fixing Women: It’s Time to Fix the System
In today’s society, we sit in a place of paradox. Women across industries continue to scale barriers, tackle obstacles and role model excellence, while trying to balance all the additional uncertainty and emotional labour society throws at them. This creates a tiredness that is rarely talked about, but on the flipside, there are an increasing number of voices saying they are tired of diversity. In our research, 41% of men stated that inclusion had gone to far, stating a variety of reasons why they felt this way.
This talk will look at the continued individualisation of women’s challenges and how we move the conversation from blame to systemic change. We will share what we have seen to be effective in engaging men, moving them from curious to changemaker, and how in an increasingly divided world, we foster collectivism and solidarity toward a gender equitable future.
