Virgin StartUp are the not-for-profit helping founders and future founders start and grow the businesses they’re passionate about.
They provide access to funding, mentoring, training, support and investment-readiness programmes, and are home to thousands of startup and scaleup founders in their community.
The 5050 Pledge
In 2019, Virgin StartUp made a commitment to level up the playing field to starting and scaling businesses by funding equal numbers of men and women founders though their startup loans programme. To date, they have helped over 4,800 founders access more than £65m in Start Up Loan funding of whom 42% (2016) are women-led business.
