Sonal is a Forbes featured, multiple award winner, and Author of Amazon’s best-seller book ‘She Chose Tech, The Essential Guide to Inspire and Empower Women in Tech’. She is a highly accomplished Speaker and career professional with an illustrious career spanning over two decades, from banking and telecom industries to oil and gas, currently working as a Vice President in banking.

Sonal has won multiple awards, such as two times winning the We Are The City Rising Stars—Tech100 and Diversity award; she was a finalist in Computer Weekly’s Most Influential Women in 2022 and 2023, named in Brummell’s Most Inspirational Women in 2023, among other awards, such as a ‘Global Women of Inspiration’ award in 2022.

She is a Speaker who frequently speaks at industry events, including a roundtable for ‘Women in Blockchain Talks’ on International Women’s Day, a panel participant at the Women in Business Conference discussing “The Glass Ceiling”, Life Skills Global Summit about careers at Like-Minded Females, and panel moderator at We Are The City Women in Tech conference on ‘Block Chain and The Supply Chain’ to over 400 live attendees and 2000 online and at Tech Summit in 2023 as part of a panel about Intersectionality, diversity and inclusion. She is also currently a United Nations UK Volunteer.
