Our organisations & society face a number of unprecedented challenges: a climate emergency; cost of living crisis; a lack of diversity & digital skills in our industry; the emerging impact of artificial intelligence on our daily lives.Manchester has a proud history of leading the way in tackling key technological and societal issues of the day such as these, whilst being at the forefront of social justice, economic & industrial progress.As leaders in technology organisations across the North West, we’re uniquely placed to make a positive global impact on all of these challenges, working together to support GMCAs vision of creating a greener, fairer, and more prosperous city region.In this talk, we’ll explore the 5 key elements of responsible leadership; look at some great opportunities for collaboration across Manchester; and share some lessons (and pitfalls!) that we in Kraken have encountered during our mission to make a big green dent in the universe.
