Fireside Chat: Harnessing the talents, ambitions and drive of women in business
Women around the world have been deeply affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, which heightened the large and small inequalities – both at work and at home – that women face daily. Women have been disproportionately affected by job losses, lower wages, and the pressure of childcare while working from home. For those also juggling parenting, childcare and home-schooling, those challenges have been intensified. Almost half of female entrepreneurs had to take on more family responsibilities during the pandemic, leading to one in 10 putting their business on hold entirely.
In this keynote, Baroness Karren Brady is keen to harness the talents, ambitions and drive of women in business. She will discuss how the business world has changed in the last 2 years, how women have had to adapt and what core skills and values are needed to succeed in this new post-pandemic world.
Learn the different ways of working that Karren has had to adopt over the last couple of years, and the affect it will have on her future ways of working. The keynote will be followed by a Q&A so get your questions ready to ask Baroness Brady for her career and business advice.
